Update...

Shaun found a new home back in July. We were sad to see him go, but the Taxi knowledge we've collected just didn't translate to the Rover.

Preston suffered a nasty sideswipe (why can't Pennsylvanians merge?) and has developed Fender Droop, so we need to get him into the shop soon.

Wensleydale has had some intricate electrical problems. Boy, there's a reason the British no longer run the world. We've now gotten her mostly sorted out, except for the wipers. Pics of her paint re-do and Preston's new interior here.

Gromit just had a once-over at the VW dealership and is feeling perkier than ever, so at least we have that going for us! :)

We started the paint rubbing process last weekend. We intended to have two full days but much of Saturday was taken installing Preston's new interior (carpets and some fascia only). Sunday we went to a car show.

We did get two panels nearly done (RF fender and RF door). 600, 1000, then 2000 grit sandpaper, followed by an orbital sander and a horizontal rubdown by hand... she's looking awfully good. *grin* We hope to complete her right side and butt this weekend.
